Stucco reliefs from the vault above of the east subterranean stairs of house e, palace. the top drawing, from eastern subterranean vault 1, shows a cosmic monster with a "k'in" (sun) in the middle of the body and an upside-down quadripartite badge at the tail end. the bottom drawing, eastern subterranean vault 2, shows a two-headed saurian or reptile. above the saurian is a deer (at left) and a crouching supernatural (at the right).
